Nicole Scherzinger is Still on Fire!

The Pussy Cat Dolls are making noise on the internet right now with their performance reunion in X-Factor. The all-girl group career skyrocketed during the early 2000s. They’re known for their beautiful voice, dancing capabilities, and sexy aura. Nicole Scherzinger is the lead vocalist.

All are equally stunning during that performance, but the most remarkable is their lead singer. She still has the voice, stage presence, and rocking body in her 40s. She is an American singer-songwriter, television personality, and philanthropist.

Her Beginning

She went to a performing arts school and, following graduation, enrolled at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She majored in theater arts and minoring in dance, and eventually put her studies on hold to pursue music, initially as a backup vocalist for the late-’90s rock group Days of the New. In 2001, Nicole joined a contestof WB television show Popstars, where she got the role of lead singer that started all-girl pop group Eden’s Crush.

Around that time, the popular L.A. burlesque act the Pussycat Dolls were being reimage into more of a commercial pop and R&B group, and Scherzinger became their lead singer in 2003. Scherzinger wound up singing basically all of the songs on the group’s 2005 debut, PCD, along with being the only one to have a few songwriting credits on the album. As the Pussycat Dolls’ popularity rises, Scherzinger collaborated with various artists like P. Diddy, Rihanna, Avant, Will Smith, and Belinda. As the Pussycat Dolls continued to promote their debut on the road, Scherzinger readied the release of her solo album, with a title, Her Name Is Nicole. It is initially scheduled for release in late summer 2007, with collaborations from various artists like Akon, Timbaland, and will.i.am but a series of singles.

Tensions Among Pussy Cat Dolls

The group officially disbanded in 2010. However, Carmit Bachar left earlier, after reports of tension between her and Nicole. In an interview in 2012, Bachar revealed Nicole damaged relationships within the group by not confiding in them about her battle with bulimia. Bachar also blamed the split on Miss Scherzinger’s ambitions for a solo career, and due to the overemphasis of favoritism on Nicole.

After Pussy Cat Dolls

Nicole appeared as a guest judge in several episodes of The X Factor, before becoming a permanent part of the judges in 2011 for series 9. She is currently a judge on The X Factor: Celebrity, which replaced the original format for the first time this year.…
